Nero Sacro
Nero d’Avola is the Sicilian red grape par excellence.
At Tenute Virone we have been cultivating Nero d’Avola for over fifty years, with passion, care and experience.
Nero Sacro is an intense and full-bodied red with violet reflections, with sour cherry and cinnamon aromas, a soft and dense structure.

- Intense and deep red, with violet reflections.
- Nose
- Sumptuous and warm aroma of ripe red fruit.
- Palate
- Releases aromas of sour cherries and plums, with a spicy vein dominated by cinnamon and a slightly sweet finish. A very balanced tannin that returns softness and a good wine structure.

- A magnificent red to accompany to elaborate and intense meat dishes and a sophisticated and tasty selection of meats and cheeses.

Frida
An intense and brilliant ruby wine which has aromas of black cherry and blackberry.
Develops tertiary aromas such as leather, cocoa and chocolate.
A refined wine determined by a good sugar content and fruity memories. With time it tends to turn to garnet and transparency.

- Intense bright ruby red; with time, however, tends to turn garnet and be more transparent.

- Develops spicy tertiary aromas such as leather, cocoa and chocolate.

- It is characterized by a good sugar content, the persistence is good with fruity flavors of black cherry and blackberry.

- A refined wine to accompany elaborate and intense meat dishes and a board of well seasoned meats and cheeses.

Piumé
A straw-yellow wine with delicate fruity notes, as white peaches, apples and almonds.
Memories of flowering meadows confer refinement and softness to the structure, perceived as light and followed by a mineral closure and fruity notes.

- Straw yellow with green reflections.
- Nose
- Delicate fruity notes of white peaches, honey, almonds, with notes of orange blossom and memories of flowering meadows, that give refinement and softness.
- Palate
- A light wine, but supported by a lively acidity, well balanced by a mineral closure and fruity notes.
- Match
- Catarratto finds the best matches with light and delicate dishes, such as appetizers crustaceans and fish based dishes.

Scorpio
Characterized by golden shades and a captivating fruity fragrance, fruit aromas such as pear and melon.
It looks like a pungent wine, leaves in the mouth a strong sensation of freshness due to its acidity.
It awakens citrus memories and mixes with the memory of the sea.

- Intense straw yellow, clear and with shades of gold.
- Nose
- Cheerful and captivating fruity, top notes come from fruits with green or yellow skin, such as pear and melon. Slightly floral with essence of lemon flowers.
- Palate
- It appears as a fresh wine, leaves in the mouth a strong sensation of freshness due to its acidity. It awakens citrus memories and mixes with the memory of the sea.

- Grillo is an excellent companion of fish appetizers or first courses with fish and vegetables, it is also a wine that can accompany eggs and sausages and some oriental cuisine.
